A self-powered unit that magnet-mounts on the genset canopy — no drilling, no site power, no trenching. It reads engine vitals and per-phase power from any Modbus or CAN genset controller, masters the fuel instruments on the same data bus, and keeps its own cellular line out — so when the site goes dark, it's the one still talking.

The engine controller on the canopy already measures everything that matters — oil pressure, coolant temp, RPM, per-phase load. Today it shows all of it to nobody, on a two-line screen behind a latched door. The Genset Controller puts it on your phone.
Engine vitals, live
Oil pressure, coolant temp, RPM, battery voltage, run hours, and per-phase V/I/kW — polled continuously from the engine controller and trended, not glanced at once a day through a latched door.
Remote start / stop
Start and stop the machine from town, with guarded permissions and a full audit trail. Cold snap coming? Warm it up before the truck rolls — or don't roll the truck.
Its own solar and battery
Draws nothing from the genset or the site. When the engine is down — exactly the moment you need eyes — it's still watching, still reporting. The backup battery runs a monthly automated self-test.
Its own way out
A dedicated cellular link, independent of site internet. A dead site LAN stops the miners from telling you anything; it doesn't stop this.
Diligence-grade run records
Every run-hour, alarm, and fuel-quality reading, timestamped and kept. When the warranty argument starts — or the buyer's engineer shows up — you have the log, not a story.
Masters the fuel instruments
Runs the wellpad.ai Fuel Analyzer on the same short data bus, pairing live gas quality with engine response — the record that proves what the engine ate and how it took it.
The engine dies at 2,100 hours. Whose fault?
The manufacturer says bad gas. You say bad engine. Without records, that argument is won by whoever wrote the warranty. With a timestamped log of every run-hour, fuel-quality reading, and derate decision, it isn't an argument.
Same log, different reader: when a buyer's diligence team asks how the fleet was operated, you hand them the record instead of an affidavit.
